In 8 days, a $500 per month guaranteed income scheme for California residents will begin.
The concerned debit cards are given to residents when they visit El Monte City Hall for a presentation in-person on the stimulus check program and the method of using the card. Program recipients get their payments on the cards at the beginning of each month.
The Stimulus Check Program Has Been Made Especially For Single Mothers
The initiative is designed to assist moms of El Monte, which has a population of over 100,000. While the stimulus checks for this scheme are generally made at the beginning of the month, if it begins on a Sunday or Saturday, the payment will instead be made on the preceding Friday. The scheme will provide participants with a sum of twelve checks over a full year. The last stimulus check will be made on 31st May 2024, a Friday. The application window for this stimulus check scheme started on 27th March and concluded on April 15 after a little over three weeks of availability. This income program’s beneficiaries were chosen by the 26th of April.
A participant must reside in the city, be the sole head of the home should be a woman without a spouse or domestic partner, and have a child under the age of 17 to be eligible for this program. In addition, applicants must demonstrate that they need financial assistance as a result of the pandemic as well as be capable of providing documentation showing their school enrollment, residency proof, proof of income, and an ID card issued by the government.
