In the emails mentioned from January 2009, Satoshi’s time zone appears to be worthy of attention. It is exactly eight hours ahead of the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). While we assume that it must be somewhere in Japan, as his handle points towards the fact that, it isn’t. during that time, Japan was more than eight hours ahead of the GMT.

This isn’t it. The email server is equally intriguing. The email server of Finney is seen to have received both the emails before that of Satoshi.

According to the suggestions of a friend and colleague of Finney, Derek Atkins, there is a possibility that the email service issue might be due to the configuration of Satoshi’s computer.
