Rachel Lindsay’s Instagram Account Is Gone— Bachelor Fans Harassed Her

Rachel Lindsay had an interview with the host of the show, The Bachelor, Chris Harrison. During the interview, she defended Rachael Kirkconnell, a current contestant on the show. She was the show’s first Black Lead back in 2017. Following the conversation, her media feed was bashed by several fans of the show, with some even harassing her. Following this, she went off of the app by deleting her Instagram account. The interview by Extra went viral and has resulted in a swirl of media events related to the fans of The Bachelor. 

Following the conversation, Chris Harrison apologized online and announced that he was stepping down from his duties on the show. He mentioned that he would be gone for a period of time. This was right after Rachel Lindsay, in the interview, spoke in support of another contestant, Rachael Kirkconnel. The latter has also been the target of hate after images of her resurfaced. In them, she was seen attending a fraternity formal with a theme of an antebellum plantation. Following Chris’s announcement, fans reached to Rachel Lindsay’s Instagram attacking the media personality. 

Rachel Lindsay’s Instagram Departure

The departure of Rachel Lindsay on Instagram was announced by her co-host of their podcast. Van Latham, her friend, told the confirmation of her leaving the social media platform. He also condemned the attacks on her by saying that everyone should learn to “get a life.” The podcast both co-host is called Higher Learning. He said that she did it as she was receiving “hate” from “Bachelor Fans.” He said that people have been “spamming her” hateful and rude messages. 

Rachel Lindsay’s and Chris Harrison’s representatives haven’t responded to any demands or comments. There has been an outpour of support for Rachel online after she left Instagram for good.
