There is a second batch of the Coronavirus stimulus check that will be received by the citizens of the United States of America. According to sources, it will be distributed on the 24th of March that falls on Wednesday.
The IRS, the department of treasury, and the fiscal service bureau gave a statement with regard to the allocation of the stimulus check. It was stated that the processing of the checks began on Friday. They also added the fact that some may receive it before others. The payments were announced by them this Monday.
Stimulus Check By March 24th?
As per the information given away by the concerned agencies, this batch of relief will come with a bunch of mailed checks. Not only that but some prepaid debit cards will also be attached to it. It is to be noted that those who fail to receive the stimulus check payment on the 24th of March through a direct deposit, will receive it otherwise. That is through the mail in the upcoming days.
What the associated agencies failed to disclose, is the total number of stimulus checks that will be given out in this second round. The total number of distributed checks in the first round was nearly 90 million. The amount of that was over 242 billion USD.
Chuck Rettig, the commissioner of the IRS, gave a statement with regard to the relief package. It was stated that the department of the IRS is doing its job without any delay. This round of the relief package was approved by Joe Biden, the president of the United States of America and the US Congress. The amount of relief given to one person is 1,400 USD including an extra 1,400 USD per child and a dependent adult.
