Stimulus Check

Stimulus Check has seen its rise like a meteor. There have been several proposals made to the government. Petitions have been launched and letters have been produced.

Some of the politicians too questioned the need for another round of checks. IRS rolled out provisions for aiding families who have a total count of four members.

The qualified family is set to receive a sum of $11,400 provided they have two children who are within 17.

In case the family has not yet received the Stimulus Check they can check their eligibility on the IRS site.

The rescue plan designed by Joe Biden promises to provide a credit of $3600 to children under 6. It also aids to $3000 for those who are between 6 to 17.

The plan also provides financial relief to middle and lower-class families. Unmarried individuals earning less than  $21,000 can receive the benefits. Families having three children earning under 57400 dollars annually also qualify for the Stimulus.

An extension of $8000 for each child has also been announced. This move is believed to provide huge financial relief to the families that qualify.

However, what would happen if an eligible person’s stimulus check money gets stolen? That is exactly what happened with Debbie and Mike Brandt. Let us learn about their story in detail below.

Stimulus Check Recovered By Couple

The Brandts were sent a letter by the IRS about receiving a stimulus check. After months of waiting, they finally learned that a debit card would be sent to them. However, the card would be from a bank named “Money Network”.

The duo was left in shock when they asked the bank about the monetary information of their card. The bank said that the referred card was out of money. On further investigation, it was found that their card was stolen.

Someone found the card and purchased a $1200 Louis Vuitton. $2000 was withdrawn as cash as well. This made the couple distraught.

The couple contacted the bank and asked for their stimulus check money. Unfortunately, the bank denied it. The couple then went to the media for more coverage.

This helped a lot and finally, the couple was paid $5600 of their entitled stimulus money.
