There were three sets of payments rolled out by the IRS. The payments were divided into three installments- $1200, $600 & $1400 respectively. The last set of payments was dispatched recently.
This happens to be the final check for the pandemic relief. A petition has gained huge momentum recently. The petition can be viewed at the Change.Org website. It asks the government to provide monthly checks to the citizens.
A sum of $2000 & $1000 has been requested by the bill for adults and students respectively. The bill asks for the provision for monthly payments to the citizens till the pandemic gets over.
It states that the checks provided so far were insufficient to meet all the needs. More funding is required to save the people from bankruptcy. The good news is that there are still a lot of stimulus checks left to be claimed.

Stimulus Check: States Are Providing More Money
Stimulus Checks have been announced by a lot of states. New Jersey has sanctioned a stimulus program of its own.
They will be dishing out payments to the low earners of the state. In order to qualify for the check, a resident must not earn more than $55000 in a year. Oregon has also sanctioned stimulus payments.
They are giving out monetary aid worth $600 to households with low income.
Families that have welcomed a newborn baby in 2021 will also receive money. Stimulus Checks worth $1400 will be given towards the well-being of newborn babies.
Families earning less than $75000 per year will be entitled to receive the payment.
