Donald Trump, the 45th president, has returned to the social media platform Twitter.

President Trump has started using the Twitter account “President Donald J. Trump’s Truth Social Posts” to distribute messages from his own Truth Social operation.

President Donald Trump‘s Truth Social Posts on Twitter — Ensuring that President Trump is heard on Twitter while he and Devin Nunes concentrate on Truth Social,” reads the description for the account @PresTrumpTS.

A total of 210 tweets, originally published by Trump on Truth Social between February and Monday, have been updated for Twitter. Requests to “Please Follow and Retweet” are included in each tweet.

Only Trump’s “retruthed” or “truth” statements from Truth Social and other platforms will appear on the new account.

Donald Trump Bashes Liz Cheney

On Monday, he tweeted criticisms of Republican Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney and support for incumbent Democrat Madison Cawthorn, who is facing a tough reelection campaign (R- N.C.)

Another picture of him acting the part of a haughty “MAGA monarch” was also shared.

Due to his involvement in the assault on the U.S. Capitol last year, Trump will be permanently banned from Twitter in 2021. Elon Musk, who is considering buying Twitter but hasn’t closed the deal yet, has said he would welcome Trump back to the site.

Banned users cannot circumvent Twitter’s bans by creating new accounts and posting under those names. Although this is protocol, Trump often violates it by using his hired staffer Liz Harrington’s Twitter account to broadcast messages that he has written himself. His tweets are now shared across two other Twitter accounts.

HuffPost reached out to Twitter for comment, but the company did not respond.

After this report surfaced, the Twitter account was updated to state that it was “in no way affiliated” with Trump or the Truth Social Network.

On Sunday, a spoof account that sounded just like Donald Trump debuted on Twitter. Some fans celebrated it as if it were the return of the previous president, but Twitter soon deleted it.
