Elon Musk, the billionaire, and Jackson Palmer, the co-founder of Dogecoin (DOGE) seem to be having a fight on the internet. The cause is apparently a claim by Palmer regarding his ability to get rid of all bots on Twitter using one simple script on Python.

Palmer, who hails from Australia, claimed while giving an interview, about his script’s immense power. As per his claims, his script can automatically tweet replies to tweets that are scams and, thus, indicate that human users should be careful about the danger. On Monday, while speaking to Crikey, a new outlet, he said that Musk attempted to acquire the script. However, Palmer further claimed that the billionaire did not have enough technical knowledge to be able to run the script successfully.

Dogecoin Battle: Musk v Palmer

Palmer recounts that Elon had contacted him to acquire the script. However, it had quickly become clear that Mus’s understanding of coding was far below his claims. Palmer further added more insult by referring to the founder of SpaceX as a “grifter” in the previous year. According to Palmer, Musk sells visions hopeful of one day delivering on his promises, without any certainty of whether he will actually be able to do so.

Musk, however, did not take kindly to the comments and replied harshly to Palmer via Twitter on Tuesday. He first claimed that his kids had better coding ability when they were 12 years old. He then requested Palmer to put his script in the public forum and prove himself once and for all. Palmer has not done so yet.

Musk took the comments badly and fired back at Palmer on Tuesday on Twitter. He suggested Palmer’s code could not deliver on its promise of addressing the Twitter bot problem, adding “My kids wrote better code when they were 12:”

The co-founder of DOGE exited the project in 2015. As such, Palmer continues to harbor deep resentment for the crypto industry in its entirety. He referred to it as an inequitable cartel consisting of wealthy personalities in the previous year. At the same time, Musk has been among the most vocal proponents of the meme Dogecoin, even acquiring the nickname of Dogecoin’s CEO.
