As the United States is a risk of higher rates of inflation and possibly a recession, many states plan on keep sending the Stimulus checks for another round to their residents.

Sources have revealed that there is more than one state to approve new packages of these stimulus checks already. These states hope to ease their residents’ financial concerns with them. The states also plan to send out payments in the upcoming months.

This news, however, is coming at a time when the United States has experienced the worst inflation increase in a year since 1981. Some experts also fear the country will face a recession in the next few months.

Colorado Announced A Tax Rebate, And The Other States Followed With Stimulus Checks

This year on 23rd May, the Colorado governor announced tax rebates worth $750 for single filers and $1500 for double filers. The governor, in an interview, said that the Department of Revenue of the state would be working very hard to refund the amount soon.

The governor of Hawaii, David Ige, also signed similar legislation last month to help residents with tax rebates in the upcoming months. The governor’s office has announced a tax rebate of $300 for taxpayers earning less than $100,000 and a $100 rebate for those earning $100,000 a year or more.

The Californian governor, Gavin Newsom, also promised stimulus checks of $1050 per month to the ‘millions’ of state residents last month.

Governor J.B Pritzker from Illinois has also announced plans to renounce taxes, groceries, and gas. They have also promised rebates to some of their specific taxpayers. Some other states have also signed such legislations. Indiana, New Mexico, Georgia, Idaho, and Delaware are a few.
