By the time Kaja Sokola arrived at Harvey Weinstein’s office for her meeting, Asselin had been working in Hollywood for over a decade and had big dreams for her writing career.

She hoped that Weinstein would mentor her and make some calls on her behalf — but their meeting turned into a nightmare that ruined her life and is still haunting her more than a decade later.

Asselin says that after his assistant led her down to his suite, he called out to ask if she needed anything — then came out of his room wearing only a bathrobe with nothing underneath as he headed towards his bathroom while asking if there was anything else he could do for her.

“He took something from me that I can never get back,” Sokola told The Post in an exclusive interview.

Weinstein is accused of sexually harassing dozens of women over the past few decades and has been accused of rape by three women. He was fired from his company and expelled from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences after The New Yorker article ran last October.

Kaja Sokola Shares Her Traumatic Story

The disgraced Hollywood producer is scheduled to go to trial in New York in January on five sex-crime charges involving two women — including a forcible rape count for allegedly attacking Sokola in 2002 when she was just 16. He has pleaded not guilty and denies all allegations.

To be clear, this wasn’t my first time being sexually assaulted or harassed by a man. But it was the last straw that made me realize how much I needed to get out of there.

As for Sokola, she went from being what she considered “the luckiest girl in the world” to being suicidal after her encounter with Weinstein — which has left her suffering from anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

At one point, Weinstein allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on him.

Kaja Sokola tearfully recalled the “worst night” of her life on Thursday during Harvey Weinstein’s rape trial, recounting how the disgraced producer allegedly cornered the 16-year-old in a hotel room.

In one of many intense exchanges between defense attorney Ben Brafman and Kaja Sokola, he asked her if she had been drinking before heading to the hotel room with Weinstein — who has pleaded not guilty to six charges — and if she felt that she had been raped by him. “I did feel like I was raped,” Kaja Sokola replied through tears.
