Jordyn Woods is setting the record straight after being accused of shading Kylie Jenner on Instagram. The model and social media influencer took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday night to explain that a viral video that surfaced this week was not about Kylie Jenner at all.

In the video, which was posted to TikTok and has since been deleted from Woods’ account but not from the internet, a woman appears to be talking about her love of Kylie Jenner’s lips. “I love Kylie’s big lips, they’re natural, they look like mine!” she says before laughing and adding: “And Jordyn’s too! We all have them! We are all part of this movement called natural women with gorgeous noses and big fat lips that remind us every day that we need only ourselves to achieve greatness. You know what I mean? Like what am I even saying? It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white or anything in between [sic]. We are one family. One people who stand against racism.”

Jordyn Woods Speaks On Jenner Controversy

The video was shared on Tuesday by The Shade Room, an entertainment news site known for posting videos of celebrities reacting negatively to things posted about them online.

As for that lip filler reference, Woods denied anything about the clip had anything to do with Jenner — who once famously admitted to getting temporary lip fillers on KUWTK.

“I think it was more of a self-reflection video,” she said. “People were saying that I was shading Kylie when I didn’t mean to. That wasn’t at all my intention.”

“To be very honest with you, I barely remember what I said because those IG lives are free-flowing and it wasn’t anything too serious,” she wrote. “I was talking about my own journey and the things that have happened in my life that made me feel the way I did at one point in time.”

“It was never a shot at anyone or making fun of another person’s lips,” she continued. “My face is just so different now than when I first started out on social media.”

Woods went on to say she does not feel a certain way toward Kylie Jenner: “I don’t think of anyone else any less than myself—no matter how famous they are,” she explained.
