The newest image from Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is guaranteed to cause a stir in the tonne. For the forthcoming Bridgerton prequel limited series from Shonda Rhimes, Netflix gave the first look at little Lady Danbury, portrayed by Arsema Thomas, on the first day of the new year.

The image, which you can see above, depicts Arsema’s Lady Danbury standing outdoors and facing someone, though it’s not apparent who she is facing. The image, according to Netflix, is from the sixth episode of the show.

Lady Danbury’s Past Will Be Explored

Agatha, who is controlled by her much older husband, takes advantage of Charlotte’s presence to integrate herself into society. A description from the streamer reads, “With deep insight into the once-divided social scene and the complexities of marriage, Agatha becomes a guiding light for the new Queen, all the while forging her voice and authority we’ll soon recognize as Bridgerton’s legendary Lady Danbury.

The central theme of the Bridgerton-verse prequel is Queen Charlotte’s ascent to fame and dominance. The series will describe how the young Queen’s union with King George triggered a wonderful love story and a social revolution, resulting in the world of the Ton that the Bridgerton people inherited. Along with Michelle Fairley as Princess Augusta, Corey Mylchreest as Young King George, and Arsema Thomas as Young Agatha Danbury.

The cast also features Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Danbury, and Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton, who reprise their roles from Bridgerton in this series. Sam Clemmett, who plays Young Brimsley, Freddie Dennis, Reynolds, Richard Cunningham, Tunji Kasim, Adolphus, Rob Maloney, the Royal Doctor, Cyril Nri, Lord Danbury, and Hugh Sachs, who plays Brimsley, complete the cast (older).

Along with Betsy Beers and Tom Verica, who also directs, Rhimes serves as the showrunner and writer, and they executive produce.
