Sheryl Crow, a nine-time Grammy winning musician had been announced as one of the sixteen nominees for the next induction ceremony this Monday. However she was completely shocked by this decision. She said that she felt honored and humbled by the nomination and she couldn’t be more excited. Sheryl Crow in her interview after the news broke said that she is extremely shocked by the news.

Sheryl Crow has been a very distinctive persona in the music industry. She has been rocking and rolling since the early ‘90s, when Tuesday Night Music Club, her debut album,  was released and received praises from critics. Her songs like “All I Wanna Do” and “Soak Up the Sun” gone crazy hit  and it helped to engrave her status as a star in the industry. She has continued to release music and tour over the years.

Sheryl Crow is in great company with the other nominees. This included The Doobie Brothers Whitney Houston, Notorious B.I.G., Soundgarden, and Pat Benatar. Sheryl Crow said that she feels honored to be the nominee of such a company.

The nomination procedure for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is drawn out and considers the artist’s whole career. The criteria take influence, longevity, and the effect of their music into consideration.

Sheryl Crow has enjoyed an amazing career and she had more than 50 mn recordings that were sold. She has also worked with incredible musicians like including Keith Richards, The Rolling Stones, and Eric Clapton too.

Through 28th April, fans will also cast their votes daily online or in person at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland. The public’s favorite five artists will comprise a “fans’ vote” that, together with the other ballots, will be used to choose the Class of 2023, which will be announced in May.
