Kellie Pickler’s husband shared the good news on social media in light of an RIAA platinum certification for an album he co-produced. Country music superstar Kyle Jacobs apparently took his own life just after celebrating a career high point.

Jacobs was also a successful record producer in addition to his work as a composer. He co-wrote and produced Lee Brice’s three consecutive No. 1 hits, “Hard to Love,” “I Drive Your Truck,” and “Drinking Class,” all of which were released between 2012 and 2014. Jacobs co-produced “Hello World,” Brice’s 2020 album. His final Instagram post praised the record and expressed his appreciation for the success.

According to All Music, in addition to playing acoustic guitar and providing backing vocals on the “Hello World” CD, the artist also authored it. The Nashville Police Department has verified to Fox News Digital that Jacobs passed away on Friday at the age of 49.

Jacobs co-wrote two songs that were performed on the ABC musical drama “Nashville”; the songs “Back Home” and “Already Gone”
Similarly, Jacobs and Pickler appeared on the CMT show “I Love Kellie Pickler.” From 2015 to 2017, the show aired for three seasons.
