Variety, the media portal reported recently that the spinoffs of Star Wars announced a few days back are pulled out from its development. The announced movies of the Star Wars franchise were directed by Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, and Patty Jenkins, the director of Wonder Woman, and both of these films are pulled out from production as per the recent reports.

Patty Jenkins was directing Rogue Squadron which is a spinoff about the Alliance Starfighters from the franchise. The movie was into production and it was scheduled to release in this December. However, in the last September it was pulled out from production. Sources tell us that Rogue Squadron is not under development any longer. The franchise reported the same about the Feige directed movie too. The project was unnamed but under production, and it will be a collab between Lucasfilm Studios and Feige.

Even though the scriptwriter of the Kevin Feige project said that they started working upon the script of the film, its probably because of the MCU’s demanding schedule that Feige haven’t entered in the production of the Star Wars movie in full-fledge yet. Feige currently is focusing on the Avengers: secret wars, that will be in the theatres by 2026.

Patty Jenkins Is Not Moving Forward With Star Wars Movie:

The media outlet said that the movies of Star Wars from Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Taika Waititi can move forward despite the setback in the previously mentioned projects. No spokepersons of Disney or Lucasfilm haven’t responded to these news yet. However, Jenkins has confirmed that her project was hitting the floor in her statement back in December. Back then she said that she was looking forward to this project even though she was unsure about if it was going to happen or not.
