Linda Thompson, Elvis Presley’s ex-girlfriend, dug up old images of the late Lisa Marie Presley whilst reminiscing on their “great relationship.”
“She is still a part of my heart,” the socialite said in a lengthy tribute to the late singer on Instagram on Wednesday, with many images from her youth. Thompson, who dated Elvis from 1972 to 1976, was spring cleaning when she came into an old photo album containing Polaroids of a young Lisa Marie.
“Time stopped for a few seconds while I glanced at these wonderful images,” the 72-year-old actress tweeted. “Little ‘Yisa Marisa,’ as I fondly recall her,” Thompson stated that she discovered the photographs while conducting some spring cleaning. Thompson described her friendship with Lisa Marie as “amazing.”

Lisa Marie was six years old and missing two front teeth in the flashback images, according to Thompson. “She asked me to photograph her in my dressing room at the Monovale mansion,” the former fashion queen remembered.
Thompson then gushed over Lisa Marie’s resemblance to the “So Beautiful” singer’s eldest child, Riley Keough, who appears on Amazon Prime’s “Daisy Jones & The Six.” “I am not sure exactly how many shows you are following — or have overeaten like I did…but you should! That is amazing!!” Thompson explained. “Riley’s facial expressions have so many intricacies that reminded me of her gorgeous mother.”
“Lisa’s magnificent, assertive, powerful personality lives on in her exquisite and talented daughter,” she continued. Lisa Marie and ex-husband Danny Keough had a daughter Riley, 33, and a son Benjamin, 27, who died by suicide in July 2020.
