James Corden made an attempt to play a practical joke on Adele who apparently is “unprankable”, but it failed miserably.
The two closest friends discussed the joke, which ultimately had not been aired, the late-night program host attempted to play on her during Monday’s final “Carpool Karaoke” episode. She had previously said that nobody could prank her ever.
Gayle King, a CBS anchor, was also included in the prank by James Corden, who had her film a phony news report about a bear that “went missing” that would be shown in Adele’s dressing area. The innocent prank, however, abruptly changed course when a member of Adele’s staff, who did not know about the joke, discovered a concealed camera and alerted the 34-year-old singer.

The “When We Were Young” singer furiously questioned if she was being stalked, asking questions like who owned the house? But when she later walked into another room filled with merchandise and pictures of herself over the walls, things got much worse. She was heard exclaiming she was not happy there, rather extremely uncomfortable.
James and his group decided to end the joke after observing how “uncomfortable” and upset she was. She’s not foolable! She is immune to tricks. During their final carpool journey together, Corden came to a conclusion. The episode served as James Corden’s farewell “Carpool Karaoke” as he is ending his eight-year tenure as host of the popular talk show this week. The comedian declared in April last year that he would continue working for another year before quitting and returning to London.
In a statement at the time, James Corden stated that he was very proud of how well the show had progressed. He further added that the initiative was only to keep it going for only five years, however, quitting was something he had been wondering about for a while since he felt it was time for him to explore something else.
