Now that she has earned her master’s, Jennifer Gates! Tuesday saw the daughter, 27, of Melinda and Bill Gates receive her master’s in public health from CU.
Along with her parents and husband Nayel Nassar, Jennifer, who gave birth to her first child in April, posted a picture on Instagram wearing her graduation attire and beaming. The graduate, Jennifer Gates wrote, “(Accelerated) Master of Public Health.” Adding that she wanted to thank CU for not only proving her with the fantastic opportunity, resources, and community that it did.
Jennifer Gates Overjoyed About Receiving Her Master’s Degree
In parentheses, Jennifer Gates further defined an accelerated degree, saying that for students with accelerated degrees, the procedure to officially receive their degrees is conferred around October. She further added that the process begins when practicums were due however all their coursework had been completed. Jennifer Gates then urged her fellow mates to enjoy and celebrate the ceremony. On his Instagram Story, her partner Nayel Nassar posted the image once again writing about how proud he was. Jennifer Gates shared a picture of herself walking to earn her graduation that was put on the school’s official Instagram account on her Instagram Story.
She also uploaded a picture of herself receiving an award on stage and commented that she was extremely grateful for the honor that has been bestowed upon her. After 27 years of marriage, Melinda’s divorce from Bill Gates was finally formalized in August 2021. She admitted to Fortune magazine last year that the breakup was “extremely painful.” The parents have three children including Jennifer, Rory, and Phoebe.
Melinda told a magazine that amid the divorce, the children were among her main considerations and that above all she wanted to keep them safe and sound.
