Recently, Space Black has emerged as the trendy new color from Apple, making its way into devices such as the MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. However, when it came to the new Mac mini, Apple opted to stick with the classic silver finish. Fortunately, an Apple fan took it upon himself to repaint his Mac mini in a striking black, and the result is impressive.
Apple enthusiast and collector L0vetodream showcased multiple images (along with a video) of his hydro-dipping technique used to transform a silver M4 Mac mini into a color similar to Space Black. This intricate process involved dismantling the entire unit down to the bare aluminum chassis before subjecting it to a dipping process. After a few hours, the finish began to take shape, resulting in a breathtaking look.
He also managed to craft a Space Black Mac Studio, which also turned out beautifully. Notably, he mentioned that he can convert anyone’s Mac Studio to black for a fee of $100, which appears to be a reasonable rate.

The M4 Mac mini is presently available on Amazon for $559, so consider grabbing one for yourself.
