Tesla has officially unveiled its upcoming app for the Apple Watch, which is expected to be available as soon as next week.
The new Tesla app for Apple Watch will function as a digital key, allow for frunk access, and enable climate control settings. Additionally, it will display battery levels separately from the iPhone.
The most notable feature is the key access, which will be especially beneficial for Apple Watch users. While the iPhone has traditionally served as the key, it’s common to leave it in the car while exercising with just the Apple Watch. The new watch app allows for this functionality without risking the car’s security.

The announcement of the Apple Watch app was part of this year’s holiday update from Tesla. Other enhancements for iPhone users include the option to view and share video footage via the mobile app, as well as the ability to schedule light shows from the iPhone app.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed enthusiasm for the development of an Apple Watch app back in March when questioned about it on X. Evidence confirming that the app was indeed in progress emerged in October.
The latest model is the Apple Watch Series 10, which features the largest displays, the slimmest design, and numerous other enhancements. Check out the review on DMN. Looking for an Apple Watch charger for your Tesla? This compact travel charger is an excellent choice.
