Today, Apple Music has revealed an enhancement to its radio lineup, introducing three new stations with live presenters and curated playlists.
New radio stations are accessible to everyone, no subscription needed
Within the Apple Music app, users can discover algorithm-driven ‘radio stations’ tailored to their favorite artists. For instance, you might find stations dedicated to Taylor Swift or a personalized station curated from your listening habits.
In addition to algorithmic recommendations, Apple Music also features traditional radio stations hosted by real people and featuring handpicked music. Some of these include:
- Apple Music 1
- Apple Music Hits
- Apple Music Country
Today, Apple is broadening its radio selection with three exciting new stations:
Apple Música Uno “is dedicated to expressing the vast stylistic diversity found in Latin music globally.” Apple Music Club “welcomes all fans of dance and electronic music, along with club culture.” Apple Music Chill “serves as an escape, a refuge, a sanctuary of sound for listeners at any time during their day.”
Here’s a quote from Oliver Schusser, Apple Music’s VP:
“Apple Music Radio stands at the core of our service, blending remarkable human voices and curation with cutting-edge technology that shapes cultural trends,” stated Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Music, Sports, and Beats. “We dedicate significant time and effort to ensure these new radio stations are finely tuned, highly curated, and hosted by some of the finest music commentators, providing unique programming that will undoubtedly resonate with our listeners.”
These Apple Music Radio stations are available worldwide and do not require an Apple Music subscription. Everyone can listen to them for free.
