As reported by Apple (via The Apple Post), members from all over the UK greeted King Charles III at the historic Battersea Power Station, which has served as Apple’s UK headquarters since 2023. In this context, Apple also welcomed students from St. George’s Primary School to design holiday-themed artwork on the iPad, which was subsequently projected onto the building’s iconic chimneys.

“We were honored to host His Majesty King Charles at Apple Battersea — our U.K. home — and we take pride in supporting The King’s Trust in its essential mission of educating and empowering young people,” said Cook. “We anticipate our continued growth here, building on more than four decades of history in the United Kingdom.”

Together with the UK non-profit organization The King’s Trust, Apple backs various initiatives aimed at teaching coding to students. Some of these students had the opportunity to showcase their projects to Tim Cook and King Charles.

During the occasion, Tim Cook presented the King with a commemorative metal plaque signifying his visit. The event culminated in a concert by celebrated British artist RAYE.

Earlier this month, Apple collaborated with Aardman, the renowned animation studio, to produce a short stop-motion animation featuring Wallace & Gromit, utilizing the camera of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This animation was also displayed on the chimneys of Battersea Power Station in London.
