Effortlessly transferring your logins to Apple Passwords

Begin by exporting your passwords and logins from your current password manager. Most third-party managers include an export feature for this purpose.

Access your password manager’s settings, find the export option to save your data as a CSV file, and you’ll be set to transition.

If you’re using a Mac with macOS Sequoia, follow these instructions:

1. Launch the Passwords app
2. In the Menu Bar, select File ⇾ Import Passwords from File
3. Choose the previously exported CSV file, then click Import

For security reasons, consider deleting the CSV file once you’ve completed the import.

Remember, exporting data from your old password manager doesn’t remove it. You can continue to use the previous application, and your information will remain intact.
