The holiday season is right around the corner, and while it’s already filled with enchantment, technology can certainly add to the festive cheer. Enter “Better Call Santa,” an app that allows you to set up a call with Santa for your kids, powered by AI.
AI now allows your children (and you) to connect with Santa
Better Call Santa employs ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode to facilitate a lively conversation with Santa. The app goes beyond that, enabling children to communicate their wish list during the call. AI then compiles this wish list within the app, allowing parents to discover exactly what their kids hope for this Christmas.
“Bring your family’s Christmas spirit to life with Better Call Santa. This enchanting app helps you create a unique holiday memory with a personalized call from Santa himself. Children can express their holiday wishes, while parents can safely view their child’s wish list—all through an easy-to-navigate app,” reads the app description.
I had the chance to try out the app, and it’s genuinely entertaining – I believe parents will appreciate the wish list feature.
Just this week, OpenAI introduced a Santa Claus voice to the ChatGPT app. Nevertheless, the company has recognized the developer behind this app for their impressive work, even before the public release of the ChatGPT update.

Better Call Santa is now available for download on the App Store. The app requires an in-app purchase of $5.99 to function. It’s important to note that while the app is primarily designed for English, users can request Santa to converse in other languages – after all, he and AI can accomplish anything.
