The acclaimed Apple TV+ series, Severance, is now available on physical media, allowing you to purchase the first season on Blu-Ray.
This physical release is just in time for the upcoming season two premiere, making it an excellent last-minute gift for those who haven’t yet experienced the show, especially with season two launching on January 17.
Severance is among the select few Apple Original shows to receive a physical format release. Typically, these Blu-Ray editions arrive several years post-streaming debut and only in 1080p resolution.
Unfortunately, this trend continues with Severance; the Blu-Ray is HD only and includes a 5.1 surround sound track. The nine episodes from the first season are distributed across three discs.
If you’re looking for the best 4K HDR video experience with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, you’ll still need to stream the series on Apple TV+.
Since its debut in February 2022, Severance has been a remarkable success, earning significant critical acclaim with 14 Emmy nominations.
With the season concluding on an intense cliffhanger, fans have eagerly awaited the arrival of season two.
