Aqara Unveils Exciting Smart Home Innovations at CES, Featuring Touchscreen Control Panel and More

The smart home brand Aqara has unveiled an impressive lineup of nine new products at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. However, most of these offerings won’t hit the US market until later this year.

Among the new releases is a comprehensive touch-screen panel that functions as a smart light switch, a controller, a display for smart home devices, a Zigbee hub, and a Matter bridge for Aqara’s Zigbee gadgets …

The company showcased its latest innovations at CES 2025.

Aqara is committed to enhancing user experience with the launch of its first in-wall control panels tailored for the international market. This includes the Panel Hub S1 Plus, Touchscreen Dial V1, and Touchscreen Switch S100 US. With elegant touchscreen designs, these devices allow for centralized smart home management, empowering users to control devices and scenes without relying on a smartphone. Additionally, Aqara revealed the upcoming arrival of its next-generation dual-protocol smart switches – Light Switch H2 and Dimmer Switch H2 – aimed at the North American audience.

Interoperability remains a critical focus for Aqara, as the company further develops its Thread lineup with new sensors and Border Routers. The Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 is a battery-operated, versatile solution for human detection and environmental monitoring, while the Climate Sensor W100 enhances indoor climate control awareness. Aqara’s expanding Matter Controller series now features the entry-level Hub M100 with a compact design, alongside the Doorbell Camera Hub G410 which bolsters home security and connectivity.

Spotlighting the event is the touchscreen controller, the Panel Hub S1 Plus.

This high-end in-wall panel provides centralized management of the entire smart home through a singular interface, enabling users to engage with their environment intuitively without a smartphone. Designed to replace a conventional light switch, it is wired to automate and control up to two lights. Featuring dual-band Wi-Fi and a 6.9″ touchscreen, the panel can effortlessly manage a myriad of devices including cameras (complete with live view), door locks, thermostats, lights, curtains, and more, while also setting off scenes and routines. Additionally, the S1 Plus serves as both a Zigbee hub and a Matter bridge for Aqara Zigbee devices.

The company has announced a launch in Europe later this month, with a US release expected later this year.

Other new products are set to become available between now and later this year.

This announcement follows the launch of the Aqara Smart Lock U300 in October, which supports Apple Home Key, Matter, and Thread, as well as a new water valve controller introduced last month.
