At CES 2025, OhSnap, known for its innovative iPhone cases and MagSafe accessories, introduced the MCON. This new slim MagSafe accessory attaches to the back of your iPhone and easily unfolds into a fully functional game controller, perfect for gaming on the move.
The OhSnap MCON is available in two colors: black and white. It includes a button that springs the controller into action, although you can also unfold it manually. Designed with two fold-out handles, it improves your grip while gaming. Plus, when not in use, it securely folds back onto your iPhone with MagSafe, fitting easily into your pocket.
This controller is equipped with full-sized hall-effect joysticks and highly responsive buttons. It connects via Bluetooth and features a 450mAh battery that can be charged through USB-C. Although still in the early stages, there is assurance that the controller consumes very little power, though specific battery life details are not yet available.
OhSnap plans to release the MCON later this year, with a retail price set at $149. While it may seem a bit expensive, it’s a unique offering in the market. For updates, you can visit their Kickstarter page.
