This innovative design was first introduced in India in 2023, where Apple touted it as a distinct feature.
Apple Saket welcomes visitors with its uniquely designed curved storefront, complemented by white oak tables showcasing Apple products and accessories, alongside a feature wall crafted in India.

This distinctive design quickly became a trend, appearing in a second mall store in Shenzhen, China, merely a week later.
The most recent version (shown in the top image) has been revealed by Apple with preview photos of the Apple MixC Hefei store, located in Anhui province, China. This store features an unobstructed curved glass exterior, emphasizing a smooth transition from the outside to the inside.
As is becoming customary, the store integrates locally sourced materials into its design.
Set near Swan Lake and within a notable business district, Apple MixC Hefei showcases a wide, curved glass facade that smoothly integrates the inside with the outside, warmly inviting customers. The new store is built with sustainably sourced materials, embodying Apple’s dedication to environmental stewardship and design excellence.
To celebrate the approaching lunar new year, Apple has planned several activities.
In honor of the upcoming Chinese New Year, customers can acquire a pair of special-edition AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, engraved for the Year of the Snake. Additionally, they can participate in a unique Chinese New Year workshop that will teach creative ways to capture and recount memories using the iPhone 16 and Apple Vision Pro, the company’s first spatial computer aimed at transforming collaboration and connectivity. Customers visiting Apple MixC Hefei can also enjoy festive window decorations and thematic elements throughout the new store, contributing to a joyful atmosphere.
The store is set to open its doors at 10 AM on Saturday, January 18.
