Apple Launches Beta 3 for macOS Sequoia 15.3 and visionOS 2.3

Apple has officially introduced new beta versions of its software for Mac and Vision Pro. The rollout of macOS Sequoia 15.3 and visionOS 2.3 beta 3 is now underway for users who have a developer account.

macOS 15.3 introduces Genmoji to the Mac, with few other features

The latest beta versions from Apple are currently lacking in significant new features.

So far, one key addition in macOS 15.3 is the support for Genmojis.

Initially available only on iPhone and iPad, Genmoji is now accessible on the Mac as well—integrated directly within the Messages app.

No other major Mac-exclusive modifications have been identified in the initial betas, and visionOS 2.3 has not revealed any substantial updates either.

However, today’s release of beta 3 might bring changes.

We will continue to update you on any new features discovered in this release.

To install the latest update, navigate to the System Settings/Settings app ⇾ General ⇾ Software Update.

If you have previously used beta software, you should see the beta 3 update available immediately. Otherwise, you might need to enable ‘Beta Updates’ and select the developer seed first.

These could potentially be among the last betas before the public launch. Last year, Apple’s beta cycle for x.3 versions was notably brief, suggesting we might see release candidate (RC) versions soon.
