How Apple plans to implement this feature is still unclear. However, if successful, it will address one of the common tactics utilized by stalkers.
The retention of the speaker in AirTag 2 gives users extra peace of mind, ensuring they are not being tracked without their approval.
Some users may express worry over this update, even those with good intentions. There have been reports of users experiencing their own AirTag emitting loud sounds at inopportune times and places, potentially startling pets or disrupting meetings and causing other unintended issues.
