Adobe’s Acrobat AI Assistant Will Review Your Contracts for Just

The Acrobat AI assistant from Adobe has been able to summarize documents for some time, but it has now expanded its capabilities to help users analyze contracts and detect inconsistencies between them.

Adobe’s Acrobat AI assistant

This AI feature is available as a $5/month subscription for Adobe Acrobat and includes summary tools akin to those of Apple Intelligence.

With just one click, the generative summary extracts key information from your documents, enabling you to quickly locate essential details. It is available on both desktop and web platforms.

Engage in discussions with multiple documents and transcripts simultaneously, allowing you to identify key themes and insights — all without needing to toggle between tabs.

Your documents remain secure while using the AI Assistant, and none of your content is utilized to train generative AI models.

Now with contract features

Engadget reports that this assistant can now comprehend and evaluate contracts.

Adobe has enhanced the Acrobat AI Assistant, enabling it to interpret contracts and make comparisons for you. The company asserts it can clarify intricate terms and identify variations between documents, such as changes from previous agreements, helping you to grasp what you are signing. When the AI Assistant is in use, the Acrobat app can recognize contracts, even from scanned pages. It can extract and summarize essential terms and suggest inquiries based on the document’s content.

The tool can also assess up to 10 contracts at once, identifying discrepancies and differences between them.

Trusting an AI system to summarize a contract requires a certain level of bravery; however, if you feel adventurous and are willing to pay five dollars a month for this feature, I’d be interested to hear your feedback.
