The RetractSense Navigation System empowers the robot to gauge the available height, retracting the main LiDAR module into its body if necessary, thereby decreasing its stature. The combination of these inputs allows the robot to generate not only highly detailed and precise maps of your home but also a true 3D model, as opposed to the 2D mapping offered by LiDAR.
These inputs are processed by the StarSight Autonomous System 2.0, an AI technology that can intuitively discern its environment. The system can identify over 100 types of obstacles, ranging from loose cables to children’s toys and socks.
