According to an exclusive report from Deadline, Apple Original Films is likely to acquire a new film focused on UFO revelations. This upcoming sci-fi (or possibly debated fiction) project is anticipated to spotlight the recent U.S. government’s release of previously classified materials concerning what is now referred to as UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena or unidentified anomalous phenomena). For many years, the stigma associated with unidentified flying objects (UFOs) hampered any serious dialogue on the topic.

The package market has experienced significant activity in recent weeks, and this is yet another project that seems to have secured a home. Sources inform Deadline that Apple Original Films is in discussions to acquire the untitled UFO package, featuring Joseph Kosinski as director and Jerry Bruckheimer as producer. The script, authored by Zach Baylin, is reminiscent of a UFO disclosure-centered interpretation of All the President’s Men, the iconic 1976 political thriller directed by Alan J. Pakula.
