Apple has officially launched beta 2 of its upcoming software updates, which include visionOS 2.4, tvOS 18.4, and more. Here’s what you can anticipate.
Apple Intelligence a Key Feature in Vision Pro Beta
The new beta software has been made available just over a week after the first beta release.
Among the most notable features in Apple’s forthcoming software updates is visionOS 2.4.
This release introduces a new Spatial Gallery app and enhancements to Guest mode, alongside the surprising early arrival of Apple Intelligence on the Vision Pro.
While not all features are fully functional in beta 1, visionOS 2.4 will enable users to access various AI functionalities, such as:
Currently, the primary missing upgrades related to Apple Intelligence are associated with Siri.
Siri does not receive any updates in visionOS 2.4, including the absence of ChatGPT integration. However, Apple has indicated that new Siri capabilities will be introduced “throughout the year.”
In addition to changes in visionOS, here’s what’s new:
- tvOS 18.4 features some revamped UI elements in the TV app, but overall, major enhancements seem limited.
- watchOS 11.4 and HomePod 18.4 currently show no known new features.
