Today, Apple revealed an exciting array of new offerings for baseball enthusiasts. This includes the highly anticipated return of Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+, a fresh Apple Immersive film, and the debut of a TV+ documentary focused on the 2024 World Series.
The new season of Friday Night Baseball kicks off on March 28, coinciding with the premiere of ‘Fight for Glory: 2024 World Series’ on Apple TV+. Additionally, next month, users of Apple Vision Pro can enjoy an exclusive VIP tour of the legendary Yankees Stadium in the latest Apple Immersive film. More information is provided below …
Just a reminder, Friday Night Baseball features two double-header matchups and airs every Friday, available for free to all Apple TV+ subscribers, with no regional blackouts. The inaugural games on March 28 include the Baltimore Orioles against the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Mets facing the Houston Astros.
Subscribers of Apple TV+ can also look forward to the release of the new three-part documentary on that same date. “Fight for Glory” is billed as the first all-access docuseries that delves into the World Series, chronicling the journeys of the Yankees and the Dodgers throughout the 2024 postseason, and featuring insights from players, coaches, fans, and journalists. This documentary is a collaboration between MLB and Imagine Documentaries.
Furthermore, exclusively for owners of Apple Vision Pro, a new Apple Immersive film will be available in April. Titled “VIP: Yankee Stadium”, it offers a captivating 3D walkthrough of one of the sport’s most iconic locations. The film is narrated by the renowned commentator Joe Buck and was filmed during a June 2024 Friday Night Baseball game. This film will be complimentary for anyone with a Vision Pro.
