Exclusive First Look at the New Sky Blue M4 MacBook Air

This morning, Apple didn’t organize a formal launch event for the new MacBooks but invited select developers and press to experience the products during a brief hands-on session. A notable early user, YouTuber Andru Edwards, has shared an array of images showcasing the sky blue finish.

Apple characterizes the new hue as a “stunning, metallic light blue that exhibits a dynamic gradient when illuminated.” From the photos shared by Andru, the color appears somewhat understated, even taking on a grayish tint depending on the lighting conditions.

Digital Trends has also shared some photos of the new MacBook Air, which you can view below:

With the new M4 MacBook Air, customers can select either a 13-inch or 15-inch display. The enhanced chip allows support for up to two external 6K monitors simultaneously. Aside from the fresh color, the specifications remain largely the same, although Apple has upgraded to a better 12-megapixel webcam featuring Center Stage technology.

The M4 MacBook Air is now available for pre-order, with a launch date set for March 12. Starting prices in the US are $999.
