The trading platform Robinhood introduced its Robinhood Trivia Live game on Wednesday, featuring $1 million in Bitcoin prizes and attracting nearly 400,000 participants.
The game consisted of 12 multiple-choice questions focused on finance and cryptocurrencies, starting with over 392,600 players. As the final round approached, just 1,210 users remained in contention for a piece of the Bitcoin bounty.
Lasting approximately 15 minutes, the game featured Scott Rogowsky, a former host of HQ Trivia, who presented a seemingly straightforward question related to Tesla and Fed Chair Jerome Powell. However, by the third round, over 230,000 participants had already been eliminated due to incorrect answers to earlier questions.

Difficulty escalated at that point with a question asking players to identify a stock ticker not found in the S&P 500 Index, leading to the elimination of an additional 130,000 users.
By the time round 4 commenced, only about 30,000 players remained, with questions about cryptocurrencies starting to appear, including one about the term “HODL.” Following that, players were asked about Bitcoin’s total supply and the year Dogecoin was launched.
Just 1,210 users made it to the final twelfth question, which required them to identify the largest IPO in 2024 by deal size.
Ultimately, 615 participants answered correctly, each being rewarded with a share valued at $1,626.01 in Bitcoin, roughly equivalent to 0.018 BTC.
The platform plans to host another session of the trivia game on Thursday, this time exclusively for members of its premium subscription service, Robinhood Gold. Winners will split another $1 million in Bitcoin prizes, and all participants will also be eligible for an undisclosed amount of Dogecoin.
