Fluro offers an enjoyable summary of everything you need to know throughout your day, all displayed in a sleek Mac interface adorned with a unique LED scroller. It presents the weather, your calendar events, reminders, news updates, and much more—all while evoking a sense of nostalgia.
What Fluro Offers
To start, Fluro ensures you stay informed about your day. It can vocalize the weather for your location (including forecasts for the coming days), keep you updated with calendar events and reminders, and even relay headlines from the latest news. Additionally, it displays the current date, time, and the music currently playing.
All of this is presented through a charming LED scrolling interface reminiscent of the 80s and 90s, which you can customize. Users can modify the font, color, and speed of text scrolling. You’re also able to rearrange the order of the items that scroll, giving you full control over how your information appears.
Moreover, you can choose which news genres you’d like to prioritize, allowing you to bypass topics you’d rather avoid. You can also control the number of articles that are displayed in the scrolling feed.
Fluro serves as an excellent tool for staying updated with the latest headlines, weather forecasts, and other information relevant to your day. If you own a larger monitor or a second display, it’s a fantastic app to utilize.
