Apple has acknowledged that the delivery of certain anticipated updates to Siri, referred to as Apple Intelligence, will require “more time than initially expected.”
In a recent statement to Daring Fireball, the company mentioned its plans to introduce “a more personalized Siri” for users “within the next year.”
Here’s the complete statement from Apple representative Jacqueline Roy:
“Siri assists our users in locating what they need and accomplishing tasks swiftly. Over the last six months, we have enhanced Siri’s conversational abilities, introduced features like type to Siri and improved product knowledge, and integrated it with ChatGPT. We are also developing a more personalized Siri, which will have better recognition of your individual context and enhance its functionality across your apps. However, we’ve found that delivering these features will take longer than anticipated, and we plan to release them in the coming year.”
Beyond the features currently accessible to users, Apple is beta testing a new Priority Notifications feature as part of the upcoming iOS 18.4 update.
