Should Apple Introduce Vibrantly Colored MacBook Air Models? [Poll]

One of the standout features of the new M4 MacBook Air is the introduction of a fresh hue: sky blue. While I personally believe devices should stick to shades like silver or black, many consumers seem to be excited about the prospect of more vibrant MacBook Air variants.

However, it appears that reviewers unanimously feel that the newly introduced blue is not particularly striking or colorful. So, could it be the right moment for Apple to explore offering some genuinely vibrant finishes for the MacBook Air … ?

A reviewer even mentioned that he suspected Apple might have mistakenly sent him the silver version, as he could hardly find any trace of the expected blue shade. Others have described the blue as either subtle or barely noticeable.

Considering that there are numerous enthusiasts who would love a burst of color in their MacBook Air, should Apple take the plunge and offer some bolder colors?

Last year, Basic Apple Guy shared an April Fool’s joke on Threads, claiming Apple had launched colorful models. Many responded enthusiastically, saying they would have been ready to place an order.

“Daaaamn I literally made a decision to get it before realizing it’s April Fool’s.”

“This really got me. Made me so mad when I figured it out.”

“I would buy the ever-loving out of the purple one if this was real.”

“The joke is on Apple because I would have bought this.”

“Man, I wish they would do this.”

“This model would most likely sell like crazy if it existed.”

“Damn, I loved the idea.”

There seems to be a consensus that, while the MacBook Pro may need to maintain a professional appearance, the MacBook Air has the potential to embrace a more playful vibe.

What are your thoughts? Would you consider purchasing a MacBook Air in a bold color? Feel free to participate in our poll and share your opinions in the comments.
