The launch day for the new M4 MacBook Air, M3 iPad Air, and updated iPad (A16) has finally arrived, and we’ve got deals on all of them. There are significant trade-in savings available, and earlier today, we found the first straightforward cash discounts on the new M4 MacBook Air at Amazon – they’re now $50 off, offering the best deals we’ve seen yet. Additionally, we noticed a $119 reduction on the Apple Watch Ultra 2, along with a variety of rare discounts on official Alpine and Trail Loop bands, now at 20% off, and the return of the lowest price ever on Apple’s 4-pack of AirTags ($16 each). Discover all of this and more in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.
First cash deals on Apple’s new M4 MacBook Air, with $50 off for launch day, or up to $550 off with trade
Amazon has rolled out the first direct cash offer on the newly launched M4 MacBook Air – select models will receive an automatic $50 off at checkout. Today marks the official launch of the M4 MacBook Air that Apple announced last week, and while there are still exciting trade-in savings for those looking to upgrade from an M2 or M3 model, the very first straightforward cash discounts are now available on Amazon. It’s worth noting that not all configurations are receiving this $50 off discount, but many are, and we’ll summarize the details below.
While there is a chance all configurations and colors will see the $50 discount today, here’s the current lineup:
- 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB $50 off
- 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB $50 off
- Available in Sky Blue, Midnight, and Starlight
- 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 24GB/512GB $50 off
- 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB $50 off
- 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 24GB/512GB $50 off
- Available in Sky Blue, Silver, and Starlight
We’ve previously highlighted substantial savings possibilities with trade-ins – you can save up to $550 off a new M4 MacBook Air when trading in an M3 model or $450 off by turning in an M2 from two generations ago. These offers will undoubtedly yield the best prices on the new M4, but if trading isn’t an option for you, Amazon currently provides the best route.
With the introduction of the new M4 laptop from Apple comes significant clearance deals on the M3 models as well. Amazon recently reduced prices by an additional $100 on select configurations, allowing for discounts of up to $600 off the original prices, representing the best savings we’ve ever seen. You can find all the details on these offers right here.
For full coverage of the new M4 MacBook Air lineup, check it out here – the price has been lowered, Sky Blue is available, it features a 12MP Center Stage camera, and can support up to two 6K external displays this time.
It’s back! Amazon has once again brought official Apple AirTags to near-bargain pricing, with the 4-pack now available for $64.49 shipped. Regularly priced at $99, that’s a solid 35% discount – the best price we’ve found, marking only the second instance of this 4-pack hitting such a low price.
You can also grab a single Apple AirTag for just $22.99 shipped, which is less upfront than purchasing the 4-pack. However, with the featured bundle deal above, you’re only spending just over $16 per tag – getting very close to the cost of third-party Find My-compatible products. This offer aligns with the best price we have tracked, even better than the 2024 Amazon Black Friday deal of $69.
While there are some third-party Find My tag-style trackers out there – we just reviewed Spigen’s latest model featuring replaceable batteries at a sale price of $10 each – if you’re after the authentic product, pricing isn’t getting any better than it is today.
In my opinion, Apple’s AirTags remain some of the best item trackers available. They recently received an update with a “Share Item Location” feature, enabling trusted friends and colleagues to assist in locating your mislaid items – discover more about this feature and the approved airlines capable of utilizing it to track lost luggage.
The new AirTag 2 is on its way, but certainly not at this price.
Rare Amazon sale on official Apple Watch bands now live, starting at $50: Alpine and Trail Loops, Magnetic Link, and more at up to 50% off
After witnessing some impressive $119 price drops on Apple Watch Ultra 2 this morning, Amazon has now slashed prices on several official Apple bands, including the navy Trail Loop and Alpine Loop, in addition to other models – like the Olive Alpine and new Green Trail variant. You can expect discounts of up to 20% off here, making this a rare opportunity to see so many models discounted simultaneously. You can explore all of these offers organized on this landing page, and we’ll highlight the best deals below.
Natural Apple Watch Ultra 2 drops to $680 on Amazon today ($119 off)
Deals on the Apple Watch Ultra 2 have been infrequent, or at best, fleeting, this year. While we encountered some open-box offers and a few $70 discounts on the newer black models, if you prefer the Natural Titanium case, we have a deal for you. Amazon is now offering the Natural Apple Watch Ultra 2 with three different Ocean Band colors for $679.99 shipped this morning, down from the regular $799.
These configurations come with the earlier-generation orange, white, and blue Ocean Bands, but represent the current-generation Apple Watch Ultra 2 with the Natural case color. For clarification, these Ocean Bands are identical to the new options released in September, just available in different colors – a fantastic way to save.
Since the black model Ultra 2 was launched alongside the iPhone 16 last year, prices on all of Apple’s flagship wearables have been higher. Deals on fully new units have been tougher to find, especially for the Natural model, which typically doesn’t fall much below $680.
If you’d prefer to go with the latest Series 10 models instead, you can avoid the price tag of the Ultra 2 completely and take advantage of current all-time lows on Amazon – almost all Series 10 configurations are now $100 off, presenting the best prices we’ve documented to date, including Black Friday 2024.
Today’s accessories and charging deals:
Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C MagSafe charging case now $170 at Amazon (Reg. $249)
Recently, we saw dramatic price drops on the latest AirPods Pro 2 with the USB-C MagSafe charging case during Black Friday last year, dipping to around $154 for a brief period. Amazon has now reinstated holiday pricing, offering one of the best prices of the year at $169.99 shipped. Regularly priced at $249, this represents a 32% savings of $79 on these flagship Apple earbuds.
The lowest price ever on AirPods Pro 2 was $154 during Black Friday. However, before and after that deal, we observed prices around $169 and $169.99 for a significant part of the year. A month ago in early February, we saw a quick fall to $169, and we are again witnessing a price matching that today.
Best prices ever on Apple Watch Series 10 now live at $100 off, starting from $299 (All colors)
Prime Day couldn’t bring it. Black Friday 2024 couldn’t do it either. But now, we are experiencing direct $100 price drops on Apple Watch Series 10, resulting in the lowest prices we’ve ever tracked on entirely new units. Amazon is now listing the 42mm Apple Watch Series 10 in all three colors for $299 shipped and 46mm variants at $329 shipped. Initially priced at $399 and $429, respectively, you’re looking at $100 reductions, marking new Amazon all-time lows and the best prices we’ve recorded.
Prior to today, both the base model Series 10 versions had never gone below $70 off, outside of limited offers that very few people could access. Today’s offer signifies the very first opportunity to order any of the three color variants in both sizes with $100 off the list prices. If you’ve been holding back from purchasing a new Series 10, now is an ideal time to secure one – current-generation Apple Watch units historically rarely drop more than $100 until just before new models are released.
This $100 discount applies to both the base GPS/Wi-Fi models as well as the upgraded GPS+Cell variants:
