iOS 18.4 Launching ‘Early April’, According to Apple
It’s not typical for Apple to announce precise timelines for software releases this early, but iOS 18.4 is a rare exception.
Back in October, when the initial Apple Intelligence features were unveiled, the company hinted that an April software update would introduce additional AI language support.
Following previous software trends and Mark Gurman’s insights, it became evident that iOS 18.4 would be that anticipated April update.
Recently, Apple provided more detailed timing.
Updated information on its website now specifies “early April” as the targeted timeframe for the launch of iOS 18.4.

The term “early” allows Apple some leeway, but it seemingly indicates that iOS 18.4 will be available before mid-April.
Specifically, the week of April 7 is the most likely timeframe, although Apple could also opt for a Monday, April 14 release, which could still fall under the “early April” label. Regardless, the release of iOS 18.4 is just around the corner.
