Nearly every streaming service offers a feature that showcases titles you haven’t completed or those with new episodes to keep watching. Until recently, Disney+ lacked the ability to remove a title from the “Continue Watching” list, but that has changed.
Removing titles from ‘Continue Watching’ on Disney+
On Monday, the company announced that an update is rolling out to Disney+ users today, introducing the option to delete titles from the “Continue Watching” section.
“You spoke, and we acknowledged! Today marks the release of a highly awaited global update for Disney+, enabling users to effortlessly remove titles from the Continue Watching row. Whether you’ve completed a show, mistakenly added a title, or just wish to start fresh, we have you covered.”
The process is straightforward: locate the Disney+ title you wish to eliminate from Continue Watching, press and hold the center button on your remote, and select “Remove.” For mobile or web users, tap or click the three-dot menu next to a title and choose “Remove.”
This feature is beneficial for removing shows from your list when you no longer wish to watch new episodes or if something was added by mistake.
According to Disney, this new capability will initially be available to Disney+ subscribers on the web, Apple TV, and iOS devices, with plans to extend the option to additional devices in the weeks ahead.
Ensure you have the latest version of the app installed on your device to access all the newest features. You can download the Disney+ app from the App Store.
