Al Roker shared a video of him on his social media handles. He uploaded a video of himself in comfortable wear where he can be seen walking around the hospital where he was admitted previously. 

Al Roker stated that he was very thankful and grateful as it was made possible for him to stay home and spend Thanksgiving with his beloved family.

Al Roker was not present in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City last Thursday. Al Roker never missed Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in the last twenty-seven years. 

Netizens and fans tweeted that they were unable to accept Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade without Al Roker and that the Thanksgiving Day Parade without Al Roker is considered canceled by them. Fans also wanted the Thanksgiving Day Parade to be postponed to some other date till Al Roker feels better. 

Al Roker Posted A Video Sharing With Fans His Version Of The Thanksgiving Day Parade 

Roker, missing the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the very first time in twenty seven years, posted a video where he could be seen walking around the corridors of the hospital. He stated that it was his own version of the Parade for Thanksgiving Day. He also mentioned that he was getting ready to return home leaving the hospital.

The US President Joe Biden and the First Lady Jill Biden who were attending the Thanksgiving Day Parade from the White House enquired regarding how Roker was doing and Dreyer replied to them along with the huge audience that he was doing “great”.

Roker also shared selfies with the TV screen where the parade was playing and captioned the post that he was missing being with his colleagues Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie.

As fans were way too curious about Roker missing the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade he mentioned on one of his social media posts that he had to be admitted to the hospital last week due to a clot in his blood which in turn affected his lungs. He also mentioned that he considers himself fortunate enough to receive good medical support and care and was progressing towards recovery.
