By selecting “Buy for me,” you will be shown an estimated total that encompasses item cost, shipping, and taxes. We gather product details including pricing directly from brand websites for display in the Amazon Shopping app, keeping this information updated regularly.
In the background, Amazon employs agentic AI to navigate to the specific retailer and complete the purchase using all your saved contact, payment, and shipping information.
From the user’s perspective, the entire process takes place within the Amazon app, providing a seamless experience.
Amazon’s description clarifies that purchases made at other retailers are not considered Amazon transactions, despite how integrated they feel. Consequently, Amazon’s policies regarding returns and other terms & conditions do not apply.
