Ambyr Childers has accused her ex-husband, Randall Emmett, of making threats against her and their two children. Childers spoke out about the allegations in an interview with People magazine.
Emmett is a producer who has previously worked on films such as “The Giver” and “Ride Along.” He also served as executive producer on the hit HBO series “Ballers.”
Childers is an actress who has appeared in films such as “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa” and TV shows like “True Detective,” among others. She married Emmett in 2015 after dating for six years; they have two children together, London (born 2017) and Rylee (born 2018). The couple divorced this past April after eight years of marriage due to irreconcilable differences.

The “Power” producer, who has gone through a highly publicized split from Lala Kent, used to be married to the “You” actress — who filed for divorce in January 2019 after six years of marriage.
Ambyr Childers Was Threatened
The former couple are parents of two children: son Rio Shane (born May 28th 2013) and daughter Araya Rose (born February 1st 2017). They separated in October 2018 after nearly five years of marriage after allegations surfaced that Emmett had cheated on his wife with “Power” co-star Naturi Naughton while working together on set in South Africa.
According to Childers, Emmett’s attorney, Shawn Holley, went out of her way to make veiled threats against Childers during an intense back-and-forth over a minor’s passport.
In a letter dated March 25, 2016, which was obtained by Page Six and can be seen in full below, the actress writes: “I have been advised that you have threatened me with legal action over the use of my son’s current name on his passport and social media accounts. This is nothing more than bullying tactics …
I will continue to use his name as it appears on all legal documents as well as social media sites unless ordered otherwise by court order or judge order. If you feel that threatening me will persuade me into changing it then I can assure you it will not work…I am not afraid of bullies such as yourself who are looking for a quick payday from Randall Emmett Productions Inc., Mr. Randall Emmett himself or anyone else associated with this film project.”
