A source reportedly familiar with Angelina Jolie said that the ensuing legal action by Brad Pitt against the actress regarding their co-owned winery has a different source. The source claims that it is happening because Jolie did not agree to sign an NDA. However, a Brad Pitt source said that the contract that included a clause for non-disparagement was a completely normal business transaction.

Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt At Loggerheads

Earlier in the week, 59-year-old Brad Pitt had filed a new complaint regarding the second amendment against Angelina Jolie. The subject was Jolie selling the Chateau Miraval half that she owned. The entity is based in France and includes a vineyard as well as a home. It is located in southern France where the couple had held their wedding in 2014.

According to Pitt’s claims, 47-year-old Angelina Jolie had deliberately not mentioned anything regarding the sale to him. She had sold her share of the wine business belonging to the family to an oligarch from Russia, following the couple’s split. As such, the claim further states association with this buyer is a threat to the existence of the business.

The documents submitted to the court state that the chateau was purchased by the couple to be a home that can be shared with the couple’s children. The vineyard was planned to be a business run by the family. However, even though Angelina Jolie supported the efforts Pitt was putting in for their family, she did not put in any work that was necessary for the success of Miraval.

Pitt’s legal team further states that Jolie’s purported sale is a disruption of his right to enjoy this home that he had established for the sake of his family. However, a Jolie source claims that this is a result of the actress not signing an NDA that would have forced her to be silent about past claims of domestic abuse.
