This disruption seems to exclusively affect Apple Cash, which serves as Apple’s peer-to-peer payment solution, similar to Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App. Users attempting to access their Apple Cash accounts may encounter a perpetually spinning loading indicator. Furthermore, the Wallet app might prompt you to “Set Up Apple Cash,” even if you have previously used it without any issues.
On a positive note, Apple Pay, the contactless payment service, is reportedly functioning without any problems.
