Apple Developer App for iOS Gets Updated with Dark and Tinted Icons

A week following the updated interface for App Store Connect on iOS, Apple has launched an update for the Apple Developer app on iPhone and iPad. This new version includes support for the dark and tinted icon in iOS 18, along with various enhancements.

What’s new in Apple Developer 10.7 for iOS

According to the release notes, the 10.7 version of the Apple Developer app for iOS introduces a feature that allows users to switch between a grid or list view for videos related to specific topics or events. Additionally, an indicator has been added to inform users when they have completely watched a video.

One of the most significant updates is undoubtedly the addition of support for the dark and tinted icon, particularly for devices operating on iOS 18 and beyond.

For those unfamiliar with it, the Apple Developer app serves as a resource for developers to stay informed about news and videos related to Apple’s platforms. The app is also utilized to stream sessions from WWDC.

Just last week, Apple updated App Store Connect for iOS, featuring a refreshed interface and new functionalities, including a tool for generating promotional assets for apps on social media platforms like Instagram. This release for App Store Connect follows a significant update to TestFlight that was introduced last month, which also brought a new design to the app.

The Apple Developer app can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store. It is available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.
