Tim Cook reveals a new product is launching next week
In a post on X, Tim Cook teased an exciting Apple product launch set for Wednesday, February 19.
While specific details remain scarce, Cook shared a short video featuring the Apple logo in silver, accompanied by a message:
”Get ready to meet the newest member of the family.”
This strongly indicates that Apple plans to unveil a single new product on February 19.
iPhone SE 4 is the frontrunner, though other possibilities exist
The most anticipated product seems to be the new iPhone SE 4, which rumors indicate will feature a range of impressive upgrades.
Expected specifications include:
- OLED edge-to-edge display
- Face ID with a notch
- A18 chip
- USB-C charging port
- 8GB RAM
- Support for Apple Intelligence
- 48MP Camera
- Apple’s latest 5G modem
However, there are several other candidates in the mix. We are also looking forward to:
- the M4 MacBook Air
- an M3 iPad Air
- and a new base model iPad (11th generation)
The circular design depicted in the video has sparked speculation that AirTag 2 could be unveiled. However, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests that the focus will remain on the iPhone SE 4 as the new product.
